Welcome to Sønderborg2017. In 2017 Denmark will be host nation for the European Capital of Culture and Sønderborg is a candidate united with Southern Jutland and Schleswig. After a presentation of our application the jury passed us on to the second round. Therefore we continue our work with the candidature. If you have ideas or suggestions to make the candidature more attractive we'ld love to hear from you. In August 2012 it will be decided who the Danish European Capital of Culture 2017 will be: Aarhus or us.
